Pitching a tent in rough weather is never a good time. Alps Mountaineering makes it a little easier with the Phoenix 2 Tent. This free-standing 2-person 3-season tent features clips instead of loops so you can get it up in a hurry. If the weather gets really rough, extra guy-outs on the fly further stabilize the Phoenix so you can sit out a nasty spell in relative comfort. For cooler weather, ample ventilation keeps the condensation to a minimum, and dual doors make access a breeze.
