At Backcountry.com, were not about to slap our logo on a glorified piece of polyester and call it a softshell. We asked one of North Americas top textile companies to help us design a jacket that could see us through countless ski tours, alpine climbs, and hikes into the highlands. After near-endless prototypes, we finally created something that was worthy of the Goat logo--Backcountry.coms exclusive Womens Shift Softshell Jacket. The Shifts Polartec Power Shield softshell fabric stretches four ways for total freedom-of-movement, blocks 98% of wind, and has a water-repellent coating thatll keep you dry in all but the nastiest conditions. A performance cut ensures a streamlined silhouette that minimizes bulk and maximizes mobility. We included interior pockets for your iPod, phone, and wallet; fleece-lined pockets to warm your digits; and a laminated wrist pocket for your small stuff. When comparable jackets go for close to $300, it would be crazy to let this deal slip away.
